30 Day Photo Challenge: Day 2- What You Wore

Going into this photo challenge, I knew some days were going to be hard.  I’m encountering this within the first week!

I see people post all the time about OOTD (outfit of the day) or even just what I wore.  I’ve never jumped on this.  Frankly, because I have no style.  I’m very much a jeans and t-shirt kinda girl.  My clothes aren’t really styled.  On the rare occasions, I try to get out of my comfort zone, I end up miserable.

Some of this might come from my self-consciousness.  Mostly with my weight.  I never feel comfortable with any kind of tight or form-fitting clothing.  I find myself torn between style and comfort.  As well as being between sizes!  I find that what fits the best fits most of my body looks horrible with my trouble area.  However, when I go up a size to accommodate my trouble area (my tummy area) everything else just looks horrible.  My body is not proportionate at all!

I did decide to go with a few photos in today’s challenge.  I change a couple times a day, so I wore a few things today  Most of which kept with what I’ve previously mentioned… I’m a jeans and t-shirt kinda girl.

Even with my photo challenge, I want to keep my posts real.  With that said, I am not making things extraordinary.  Just simple and very me.  🙂  I will even tell you that there aren’t even any special links I can give you.

My pajamas were simply a work-issued t-shirt (that we can’t wear at work) and a pair of leggings.  My leggings I typically buy at Wal-Mart because they are an awesome price.  I find that this combination is typically perfect for me to sleep in.  The t-shirts aren’t too tight and the leggings feel like I’m wearing nothing.  So I can sleep comfortably.

My outfit to leave the house isn’t much different!  I have parent/teacher conferences so I’m heading to the school.  I’m going in my jeans (which are again a WalMart purchase).  I’m also wearing my t-shirt from my recent CF walk (that we did in the rain).  It’s mostly just comfort for most of my trips out of the house.

I’m really enjoying this challenge.  Because I thought it would be even more of a challenge to make sure I take each photo on the day it is assigned, it has really stretched my imagination with my photographs (although I’m a little disappointed in today’s photos).  I’m also trying to make sure I put some thought into the written portion of my posts which has taken me a little further into my writing creativity!  I hope that you’ll keep stopping by to read more!
